Storm Drains in Harris Village Under Construction

Date:

The Public Works Department (PWD) is improving Harris Village’s infrastructure by constructing vital storm drains to manage water flow during heavy rainfall. The storm drains will enhance the safety and well-being of the community by reducing water-related hazards likely to arise during inclement weather.

Effective storm drains will reduce the risk of water pooling on roads, which can create dangerous driving conditions for commuters. By constructing storm drains, the PWD hopes to minimize the risk of flooding and any related property damage that heavy rainfall may cause.

The department encourages residents to stay informed about the progress of the storm drain project and other initiatives.

For more information about the storm drains and other projects undertaken by the Public Works Department, contact the PWD at 467-1122 or follow the PWD’s Facebook page at Public Works Department St. Kitts.
